
BabyFit’s Baby Yoga classes are more than just practising miniature yoga poses and sequences with your baby. Firstly the space will allow you to exhale and soften, enabling you to express your journey of parenting without judgement or any external pressure. Baby yoga is about enriching your bond whilst offering your baby dry massage (babies stay clothed) and inviting different strokes and movements to songs and rhymes that light up interaction and connection. Combined, these aid your baby’s development physically and mentally, whilst offering you an opportunity to check in and engage with your own body.

Benefits of Baby Yoga
Your baby and their development thrives on you! Your face, your touch and voice. These classes allow your baby to bring their own personality, without stresses of them being still and quiet! Each class brings a balanced mixture and combination of activity, engagement, breathing and relaxation, however that looks for each baby. Stretches, movements, strokes and positions guide (not forces!) babies to interact, offering a safe space for you both to explore with confidence. Watch as your baby moves, balancing strength, flexibility and awareness, all of which help with common symptoms of colic, wind and constipation, along with helping your baby calm, inviting relaxation and sleep.

February 28, 2025I attended Debbie's pregnancy yoga classes and it helped me enormously - my crippling sciatica was fixed through her exercise routine, and I strongly believe her advice about movement to prepare and during birth helped me to birth quicker and be more confident in the delivery room. Strongly recommend even if you've never been to yoga before.

Very knowledgeable and calming instructor, Debbie is super personable and easy to talk to. The class helped me massively and I took the steps and info I learned in class right from birth and way beyond! Highly recommend.

Debbie's classes are incredible, and I really believe they made a huge difference to my birthing experience and ability to be active right up until labour! Debbie equips you with knowledge for pregnancy and postpartum, helps works on common areas of trouble during both (and remembers any individuals with problems in certain areas, and modifies the moves if needed for them), and brings such fun and warmth to the classes. I really miss them already, and am hoping to join her baby yoga classes one day soon. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone pregnant or postpartum!

January 28, 2025I have done Debbie’s pregnancy yoga, baby yoga, birth preparation workshop and pregnancy buoyancy bumpfit. Debbie is an extremely knowledgable personal trainer with a specific interest in pregnancy, postnatal and women’s health. She has so much knowledge and I recommend her classes to anyone who is pregnant - you will not regret it. Her classes kept me fit and mobile during my pregnancies and her knowledge is ultimately why I had a home birth, which was such a positive experience compared to my first hospital birth. I would not have had the courage to do this without her support and knowledge. If you’re thinking of trying a class - don’t think twice just do it, you won’t regret it!

Not only did these classes help me prepare for the birth, but Debbie’s knowledge and kind manner shined through in every class! I also made a group of solid friends at the time we needed each other most (Covid) During labour I thought of Debbie, and all the ways she taught me to stay calm and in control. To listen to my body and not be lead by anyone else! Thank you Debbie for everything!
