BALANCE Postnatal Core Recovery
This progressive six phase program focuses on recovery, healing and strengthening from the inside out following pregnancy and birth. Breaking down the whole core, addressing it individually and building it back using various exercises and techniques from yoga, Pilates and fitness. The aim of this program is to rehabilitate safely, moving slowly through each phase to ensure long term health and wellbeing.
Each phase focuses on abdominal healing (diastasis), pelvic floor strength and overall health, posture, alignment and how to move optimally as a parent using functional movement. The course is progressive, with the final stages looking at how to safety transition back to mainstream exercise and return to impact sport such as running.
Suitable from approximately six weeks post birth.
Babies are welcome up until crawling age.
